OSHKOSH, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College dropped a pair of non-conference decisions on Saturday afternoon at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational. The Warriors fell 9-0 to host No. 4 UW-Oshkosh in the opener, and 9-2 to UW-Superior at UW-Oshkosh Rec Plex.
After stranding a pair of runners in the bottom of the first inning, the Titans got the scoring started in the second with a sacrifice fly. UWO broke the game open in the third with a five-run, two-out outburst. UW-Oshkosh added three more insurance runs in the seventh inning.

Sophomores
Julianna Alloy (Harrison Township, Mich.) and
Deanna King (Scottsburg, Ind.) tallied the lone hits for WLC (0-4). Freshman
Teagan Piven (Plainfield, Ill.) tossed 2.0 hitless innings of relief.
For the No. 4 Titans (3-0), Abby Garceau went 2-for-4 with three runs scored, and Skyler Calmes earned the win with 5.0 scoreless relief innings.
The Yellowjackets capitalized on a pair of errors and a bases-loaded single to jump out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning. UWS used four consecutive two-out hits to expand the lead to 7-0 in the second. After a pair of scoreless frames, sophomore

Anhalt recorded two hits and a RBI to lead Wisconsin Lutheran offensively. Sophomore

Brianna Wascher (South Elgin, Ill.) combined for 4.1 scoreless innings in the circle for the Warriors.
Carly Stuckmayer and Karen Balabo each went 3-for-5 for the Yellowjackets (2-1), while Bella Garley allowed just two runs in a complete-game effort.
WLC kicks off its spring break trip next Sunday when it travels to Melbourne, Florida, for the Space Coast Spring Games with matchups against Nebraska Wesleyan (3-1) and Fitchburg St. (0-0) at 12:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. ET, respectively, at the USSSA Space Coast Complex.
