Colt Ratliff (Oxford, Ga.) had four hits and homered twice to lead Wisconsin Lutheran College to a 12-4 game two win over Edgewood on Wednesday at Stampfl Field. The Eagles took game one of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference doubleheader from the Warriors, 12-2, in seven innings.
GAME 1
The Eagles capitalized on three walks and two errors in the bottom of the first inning to plate five runs for an early advantage. The Warriors got on the scoreboard in the top of the second when junior

EC added four runs on five hits, taking advantage of two defensive miscues, to its tally in the third inning. Edgewood capped its 12-run outburst with a RBI double in the fifth and a two-run homerun in the sixth. Sophomore

Six players tallied one hit apiece for Wisconsin Lutheran, with Montgomery and Oswald driving in runs.
Terry Tolliver Jr. went 3-for-4 with four RBI and two runs scored for the Eagles. Ryan Mixey struckout nine in 6.0 innings to pickup the win.
GAME 2
Ratliff's two-out, first inning solo homerun gave Wisconsin Lutheran an early 1-0 lead. A second inning sacrifice fly and RBI double put EC back in front by a run. The Warriors grabbed the lead back in the third on a RBI double from sophomore
Ian Rintelman (Muskego, Wis.) that plated Ratliff, and a sacrifice fly from Oswald sent home Rintelman for a 3-2 edge.
WLC's first three batters reached base in the top of the fourth, but Edgewood escaped any damage with three straight strikeouts. The Eagles regained a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the inning with a pair of two-out, unearned runs. Sophomore
Colin Nigl (Neenah, Wis.) belted his third homerun of the season in the fifth inning with Oswald on base for a 5-4 advantage. Ratliff homered again with two outs and nobody on in the sixth for his second bomb of the season and a two-run lead.
After loading the bases with one out in the seventh, Wisconsin Lutheran tacked on three runs as Oswald scored on a wild pitch and Montgomery drove in freshman
Jacob Lorbecki (Richfield, Wis.) and Lopeztello with a two-RBI single. The Warriors added a trio of insurance runs after two outs in the ninth. Zaccanti and Oswald each had RBI singles while Oswald later scored on a throwing error to account for WLC's 12 runs.
Ratliff went 4-for-6 with four runs, two homeruns, two RBI, and a double. Rintelman recorded three hits and a RBI, Oswald added two hits and two RBI, while Nigl drove in three runs. Four other players posted one hit each. Shevey tossed his first career complete game, scattering nine hits and allowing just two earned runs. He struckout six without walking a batter in his 133-pitch, nine-inning performance.
Carson Richter and Hayden Hellenbrand each went 2-for-4 for EC (6-9, 2-2 NACC). Aidan Williams was dealt the loss after giving up five runs, all earned, in 5.0 innings.
