Men’s Tennis Wraps Up Season In NACC Tournament First Round

Warriors made fifth consecutive conference tourney appearance

DE PERE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Fifth-seeded Wisconsin Lutheran College saw its 2025 season come to an end on Monday, falling 4-0 to fourth-seeded St. Norbert in the first round of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament at Green Bay Tennis Center.

In doubles play, the Warriors struggled to gain footing. The No. 1 team of senior Aidan Newberg (Manitowoc, Wis.) and junior Connor Heezen (Pulaski, Wis.) fell 6-0, while the No. 3 duo of senior Logan Hennen (West Bend, Wis.) and freshman Myles Harris (Milwaukee, Wis.) also dropped a 6-0 decision. The No. 2 pair, junior TaDarion Perkins (Milwaukee, Wis.) and sophomore Cameron Borchert (Loveland, Colo.) trailed 5-1 when doubles action was halted.

Completed singles matches saw WLC's Heezen fall at No. 2 singles (1-6, 3-6), Harris lose at No. 5 singles (3-6, 2-6), and Hennen drop his match at No. 6 singles (2-6, 2-6). At No. 1 singles, Newberg rebounded from a first-set loss to lead 5-3 in the second set before the match went unfinished. Borchert (No. 3 singles) and Perkins (No. 4 singles) also showed resilience, each making strong pushes in their second sets.
