MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College dropped a 3-1 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match to No. 15 MSOE on Tuesday at Time of Grace Center, falling by scores of 25-13, 22-25, 25-14, 25-15.

The Raiders (16-6, 9-0 NACC) hit an efficient .358 for the match, while the Warriors (11-8, 5-4 NACC) finished with a .126 hitting percentage.

MSOE took control early in the opening set, using a decisive mid-set surge to turn a 13-8 lead into a 22-12 advantage. Milwaukee School of Engineering capitalized on a .429 hitting percentage to close out the 25-13 win.

WLC responded in the second set with its best offensive stretch of the night, hitting .387. Trailing 14-13, Wisconsin Lutheran used a 5-0 run to build momentum, highlighted by multiple kills from sophomores Noah Kern (Brookfield, Wis.) and Brady Pichler (Menomonee Falls, Wis.). After the Raiders tied the set at 19-19, the Warriors answered with a 6-3 closing run to secure the 25-22 victory.

The third set belonged to MSOE from the start. Milwaukee School of Engineering raced out to a 6-0 lead and never looked back, maintaining a comfortable margin throughout. WLC was unable to recover from the early deficit as the Raiders hit .545 in the frame to claim a 25-14 win.

In the fourth set, MSOE again used an early run to seize control, turning a 2-2 tie into an 11-3 lead. Wisconsin Lutheran was unable to string together a sustained rally, and Milwaukee School of Engineering gradually extended the margin before closing out the match with a 25-15 victory.
