DE PERE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College dropped a 6-1 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match to St. Norbert on Tuesday at Green Bay Tennis Center.

The Green Knights (2-0, 2-0 NACC) swept doubles play to take an early lead over the Warriors (1-2, 1-2 NACC). Senior Maddy Olson (Onalaska, Wis.) and freshman Bryce Banick (Wichita, Kan.) fell 6-0 at No. 1 doubles to Jordan Domnick and Allison Unverzagt. Sophomores Addie Prochazka (Sussex, Wis.) and Annaliese Bruns (Onalaska, Wis.) were defeated 6-2 by Anna Vechart and Irene Multhauf at No. 2, while junior Tai Mitchell (Elm Grove, Wis.) and freshman Leah Moen (Oshkosh, Wis.) dropped a 6-1 decision to Molly Merrill and Madeline Diefenthaler at No. 3.

SNC secured five of the six singles matches. Moen earned WLC's point at No. 6 singles, defeating Merrill 6-4, 6-4.

Olson pushed Domnick in the opening set at No. 1 singles before falling 7-5, 6-2. Prochazka was defeated 6-0, 6-0 by Unverzagt at No. 2, Mitchell fell 6-0, 6-2 to Vechart at No. 3, Banick dropped a 6-1, 6-2 match to Multhauf at No. 4, and Bruns was defeated 6-2, 6-0 by Diefenthaler at No. 5.

Wisconsin Lutheran next hosts St. Ambrose (0-1) at 11:30 a.m. Friday, September 25 at Hart Park in Wauwatosa.
