Warriors score season-high six goals

WAUWATOSA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College dominated from start to finish on Wednesday, rolling to a 6-0 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference victory over Lakeland at Warriors Soccer Field.

The Warriors (7-1-0, 3-1-0 NACC) set the tone early in the first half, scoring three goals in a span of under five minutes. WLC continued its offensive pressure in the second half. Schmidt found the back of the net in the 56th minute courtesy of a feed from Shade. Sophomore Grace Konzak (Cedar Grove, Wis.) pushed the margin to 5-0 in the 68th minute on Zarling's second assist of the match, and freshman Kylie Lundgren (Waunakee, Wis.) capped the scoring in the 82nd minute with a goal assisted by Konzak.
