A two-sport standout at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota, Cox graduated from MLC in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in physical education and minor in coaching.

Cox was a four-year starter and three-time team captain for the Knights’ baseball team. He earned All-UMAC First Team honors in each of his final three seasons and finished his career as MLC’s all-time leader in hits (170), home runs (12), batting average (.431), and on-base percentage (.499).

He led NCAA Division III in batting average as a senior (.469) and was fifth as a sophomore (.476). The ABCA/Rawlings and D3baseball.com All-Region selection is only player in program history to hit for the cycle, accomplishing the feat during a 7-for-7, nine-RBI performance in March 2024.

On the gridiron, Cox earned All-UMAC honors all three years he played, culminating in a First Team selection in 2024. He ranks fifth all-time with 93 career receptions at MLC.

The New Ulm, Minnesota, native played baseball, basketball, and football at Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School. He is pursuing a master's degree in Sport and Recreation Management from WLC.
