Spencer Michaelis is in his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College baseball team. He serves as the team’s pitching coach.

Michaelis joined the coaching staff after playing four years with the Warriors, splitting time between the mound and three infield positions. The right-hander made 24 appearances along with 12 starts over his career on the hill, earning five wins. The Wauwatosa native finished his career with a 5.66 earned run average and struck out 46.

Michaelis attended Wauwatosa East High School where he holds the school record with a 1.98 career ERA. He was named Second Team All-Greater Metro Conference senior year and was recognized as a Honorable Mention as a sophomore.

Michaelis lives in Wauwatosa and works as an account manager at Cope Plastics.
