Brandon Barnes is in his second season as an assistant coach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College football team. He serves as the team's running backs coach.

Barnes joined the Warriors coaching staff after a four-year football playing career at Ripon College. In 26 career games, Barnes rushed 77 times for 320 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught three passes for 15 yards and a score. Barnes graduated from Ripon in 2018 with a degree in physical education.

A 2014 graduate of Clovis High School in Clovis, California, Barnes played football for two years and also participated in wrestling for one year.

Barnes, who is pursuing a Master of Arts in leadership and innovation from WLC, resides in Milwaukee.
