Dray Norwood

Dray Norwood is in his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College football team.

Norwood joined WLC's coaching staff following six seasons coaching football at Washington High School in Milwaukee - three as head coach and three as an assistant. He also spent three seasons as defensive coordinator at Vincent High School and coached defensive line for the Milwaukee County Chargers, a semi-pro team.

The Milwaukee native played two seasons under head coach Bob Berezowitz at UW-Whitewater as a running back and outside linebacker. A 1998 graduate of Washington High School, Norwood was an all-state, all-district, and three-time all-conference selection in football. He was selected to play in the 1998 Shrine Bowl game. On the track, Norwood was a two-time state champion in the long jump, triple jump, and 400m his junior and senior year. 

Norwood, who works for the United States Postal Service, lives in Milwaukee with his wife, Letisha, and five children.
