Kyle Kubacki

Kyle Kubacki is in his first season as an assistant coach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College football program.

Kubacki, a 2024 WLC graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, returns to alma mater after a standout playing career on the defensive line. A dominant force for the Warriors from 2020-2024, Kubacki helped lead Wisconsin Lutheran to a record-tying 7-3 season in 2024 and was part of Lutheran Bowl championship teams in 2021 and 2024. Individually, Kubacki earned All-NACC honors four times, was a three-time CSC Academic All-District selection, and a four-time NACC Scholar-Athlete. He ranks fourth in program history in both total sacks and tackles for loss, and second in quarterback hurries.

Among his most memorable moments on the field was a 22-yard scoop-and-score touchdown against Rockford in 2023—set up by a forced fumble from a teammate. Kubacki also posted a career-high 13 tackles and tied the school record with five tackles for loss in a single game, both in a 2023 matchup against Benedictine.

A native of Milwaukee and graduate of St. Francis High School, Kubacki was an All-Midwest Classic Conference performer for the Mariners. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree from WLC in Sport and Recreation Management.
