Matt Zeitler

Former Wisconsin Lutheran College football player Matt Zeitler is in his second season as an assistant coach for the Warriors. He will serve as tight ends coach. 

Zeitler returned to his alma mater following one season as an assistant offensive line coach at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. 

Zeitler, who spent four years (2014-2017) as a member of the Warriors' offensive line, earned First Team All-NACC honors in 2016 and also was a four-time NACC Scholar-Athlete. He started 32 career games for the Green and White. 

Zeitler prepped at Wisconsin Lutheran High School, where he earned First Team All-Wisconsin Little Ten, First Team All-Region, and All-State Honorable Mention honors as a senior. He also helped the team to two Little Ten titles and was a team captain.

A native of Waukesha, Zeitler graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sports and exercise science from WLC in May 2018. He is married to his wife, Bethany, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports administration at ECU.
