Rob Slavens

Rob Slavens is in his 15th season as an assistant coach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College football team, where he serves as the team's quarterbacks coach.

Slavens arrived at Wisconsin Lutheran with a wealth of coaching experience under his belt. He has held coaching posts at Waukesha West High School (four years), Milwaukee Washington High School (two years), and Pius XI High School (five years). Slavens also has coached for 24 years at the Jeff Trickey Quarterback Camps. In addition to his coaching experience, Slavens played football for two seasons each in Germany and arena football in La Crosse and Green Bay.

Slavens played collegiately at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (1993-1997) where he was a member of the Eagles' 1995 NCAA Division III National Championship team.

Slavens, who holds the eighth-longest pass play in school history (81 yards), graduated from La Crosse in 1997 with a bachelor of science degree in K-12 physical education. Slavens also earned a master's degree in educational leadership from National Louis University.

A graduate of Waukesha South High School, Slavens was an all-conference selection in football and basketball.

Slavens resides in Wauwatosa with his daughter, Amalia. He is currently a physical education teacher at Milwaukee School of Languages.Â
