Andrew Bruggink

Former Wisconsin Lutheran College standout Andrew Bruggink is in his fifth season as an assistant coach for the Warriors' men's basketball team.

Bruggink joined WLC's coaching staff following an impressive two-year playing career for the Green and White. In 51 career games, the Brookfield native scored 1,047 points, while averaging a school-record 20.5 points per game.

After leading Wisconsin Lutheran to its first NACC championship in 2019-2020, Bruggink was named D3hoops.com Second Team All-Central Region, NABC Second Team All-District, WBCA D-III Private College Player of the Year, NACC Player of the Year, and First Team All-NACC. He graduated from WLC in 2020 with a bachelors degree in business administration.

A two-year letterwinner at Brookfield Central High School, Bruggink was named the Greater Metro Conference Player of the Year and All-State Honorable Mention his senior year. He set the school record for career free throw percentage at 90.1 percent his senior season.
