Cole Hardtke is in his first season as an assistant coach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's basketball program.

Hardtke returns to his alma mater after serving an as assistant coach at Seward County Community College in Liberal, Kansas. He mentored five student-athletes who continued their collegiate playing career at four-year universities. 

The Lombard, Illinois native played four seasons (2019-2023) for the Warriors, winning three NACC regular season championships and a NACC Tournament title under head coach Aaron Aanonsen. Hardtke, who appeared in 34 career games, graduated from WLC in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in marketing. 

Hardtke earned all-state honorable mention, all-conference, and all-area accolades at Glenbard South High School. He is enrolled in WLC's Sport and Recreation Management master's program.
