Sean Smith

Sean Smith is in his third season with the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's basketball coaching staff and second as associate head coach. He serves as the Warriors' recruiting coordinator. 

Smith joined WLC's staff after serving as head coach at Kenosha Christian Life School and assisting at Orange County High School (Va.), where he helped lead the Hornets to their first winning season in 10 years.

Smith played basketball at Trinity International University for four seasons (2013-2017). While at TIU, he helped lead the Trojans to a NAIA Elite Eight appearance, CCAC championship, and 30-win season his senior year. He was part of a 25-win turnaround over his four-year career. The three-time team captain played in 130 career games, second-most in program history, and was the recipient of the NAIA Champions of Character award. Smith graduated from Trinity International in 2017 with a degree in biblical studies. He received a master's degree in sports management from Waldorf University in 2020.

Smith resides in Lannon with his wife Gabby, and their two daughters, Haven and Kinsley.
