Skylar Hein

Skylar Hein is in her third season as an assistant coach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College softball team.

Hein came to the Warriors following a successful collegiate career at St. Laurence University in Canton, New York. A three-time All-Liberty League selection at catcher and utility, Hein played in 93 career games and hit .391 with 64 RBI, 34 runs, and 31 doubles. She earned NFCA First Team All-Region honors in 2019 after leading the Saints with a .441 batting average. During her time at SLU, she was a multi-time recipient of the NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete and Liberty League All-Academic Team awards. Hein graduated from St. Laurence in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in biology.

A three-year letterwinner in softball at Woodinville High School (Wash.), Hein was a First-Team 4A KingCo selection and Silver Bat Award recipient in 2015 for the Falcons.

She is enrolled in the college's Master of Arts in Education program.Â
