Kaitlyn Merrill is in her first season as an assistant coach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's volleyball program.
Merrill makes her way to Milwaukee following a successful four-year (2020-2023) collegiate playing career at Marian University in Fond du Lac, where she helped guide the Sabres to their first NACC Tournament appearance in nine years. A three-time team captain, Merrill earned NACC Honorable Mention recognition as an outside hitter her junior and senior year, as well as CSC Academic All-District® honors senior year.
The Livonia, Michigan native recorded 931 kills, 467 digs, and 111 total blocks over the course of her career at Marian, where she earned in bachelor's degree in exercise and sports science in 2024.Â
Merrill most recently served as head coach for the West Bend Juniors Volleyball Club 17 Select, and assistant coach for the Marian men's volleyball program and Team Detroit Volleyball Club.
She was a two-time First Team All-KLAAÂ selection and three-time KLAA Scholar-Athlete at Livonia Franklin High School. Merrill is enrolled in WLC's Sport and Recreation Management master's program.
