MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College
women's soccer team was blanked by the Edgewood College Eagles 2-0
on Saturday afternoon at Warner Park.
The Eagles netted goals in the 16th and 62nd minute of the
contest to keep their perfect NAC mark intact. Edgewood out-shot
Wisconsin Lutheran 31-2 for the game.
Meta Kolander (Brookfield, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) and Megan
Mawhinney (Waterford, Wis./Waterford Union) tallied WLC's only two
shots in the contest.
Katie Sloan (Omaha, Neb./Nebraska Lutheran) made 12 saves in
goal for the Warriors.
Wisconsin Lutheran (2-14-1, 2-8 NAC) will be back in action on
Tuesday night when it hosts Benedictine University in its final
home game of the regular season at 7 p.m.
