SHEBOYGAN, Wis. - The Wisconsin Lutheran
College women's soccer team fell to the Lakeland College Muskies
1-0 in double overtime in a Northern Athletics Conference game on
Saturday afternoon.
After playing through three scoreless periods, the Muskies
scored the game-winning goal in the 104th minute in the second
overtime to walk away with the win.
The Warriors, whose defense was constantly pressured for the
majority of the contest, were out-shot 25-4 in the game by
Lakeland. Katie Sloan (Omaha, Neb./Nebraska Lutheran) made 10 saves
in goal for WLC.
Wisconsin Lutheran (2-12, 2-6 NAC) will be back in action on
Monday when it travels to Beloit for a non-conference clash with
the Buccaneers beginning at 4 p.m.
