MILWAUKEE - WLC was defeated by Aurora University 10-2 in six innings on Thursday in the second game of a Northern Athletics Conference softball doubleheader at Warrior Field.

The Spartans used a three-run double in the first inning and carried a 3-0 advantage into the fourth. Sophomores Emily Foster (Brookfield, Wis./East) and Ashley Zautner (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) each recorded RBIs for WLC, which had three hits in the inning.

Aurora answered with a pair of runs in the fifth and four more in the sixth to build its 10-2 lead. WLC had two runners reach base in the sixth inning, but the Spartans turned a double play to end the game via run rule.
