MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's soccer team was blanked by Northern Athletics Conference powerhouse Aurora University by a score of 4-0 on Tuesday evening at Warrior Field.

Aurora netted all four of its goals in the first half. The Spartans were led by Jessica Novickus's two goals, while Haley Pschirrer and Christine Kwilosz also scored once each for the Spartans (5-3, 3-1 NAC). Novickus had a game-high seven of AU's 54 shots. Jordan Joyce also added six shots of her own in the contest.

After allowing four goals in the opening half, the WLC defense buckled down and kept the visitors off the scoreboard in the second period. Junior Katie Sloan (Omaha, Neb./Nebraska Lutheran) recorded 27 saves and junior Meta Kolander (Brookfield, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) added the only shot attempt of the match for the forest green and white.

Wisconsin Lutheran (3-6, 1-2 NAC) resumes play on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. when it hosts Maranatha Baptist Bible College in a NAC tilt at Warrior Field.
