favorite Benedictine University 11-2 and 16-0 Saturday afternoon at
Warrior Field.
The Eagles jumped on top of the Warriors with three runs on

the score stood 4-2 in favor of BU entering the seventh. WLC
threatened in both the fourth and fifth innings, but stranded a
pair of runners on base in each of those frames.
Benedictine broke open its two-run lead in the seventh by
scoring seven runs on seven hits.
Bykowski, sophomore Lauren Mantz (West Bend, Wis./Kettle Moraine
Lutheran) and freshman Mindy Schalinske (Burlington, Wis./Shoreland
Lutheran) had two hits each for WLC.

on 14 hits. BU opened the game with three runs in the first, six in
the second and four more in the third. The game was ended after
five innings due to run rule.
Senior Katie Sloan (Omaha, Neb./Nebraska Lutheran) went 2-for-2
in game two for the Warriors.
