WLC started the scoring early in game one with a four-run,
three-hit second inning started by freshman Tara Degl'Innocenti

the game. The scoring continued as the Warriors added one run in
the third and three in the fourth thanks to a double from sophomore
Dayan Gacgacao (Chicago, Ill./Whitney Young), who later scored on a
single from junior Kendra Thomas (Jenison, Mich./Jenison).
Degl'Innocenti and Gacgacao each went 2-for-3 to lead the
Warriors at the plate in the opener.

3-for-4 at the plate, knocking in two RBI. In the circle, she
pitched all 7.0 innings, giving up only two hits and fanning five
on her way to her fourth win of the year.

double.
