(WLCSports.com) - Senior Andrew Bruggink (Brookfield, Wis.) scored 13 of his game-high 19 points in the second half to pace four players in double figures and lead the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's basketball team to a 75-67 non-conference win over Martin Luther Tuesday night inside the Luther Student Center. Sophomore Alex VanCrete (Green Lake, Wis.) and junior Matty Farner (Muskego, Wis.) added double-doubles for the Warriors.

- The Warriors sprinted out to a 12-2 lead over the Knights at the 15:48 mark after six early points from Farner. MLC climbed back to within four at 14-10 before WLC responded with five straight for a nine-point lead.
- Wisconsin Lutheran tied its largest first-half lead at 25-15 following a three-pointer by freshman Trevor Stiede (Pulaski, Wis.).
- Trailing 33-24 with 3:52 left before halftime, Martin Luther went on a 12-0 run to take its first lead of the game with just over a minute left before the break.
- The Green and White scored the final four points to end the half, including a three-pointer from sophomore Drew Bernhagen (Markesan, Wis.) for a 37-36 halftime lead.
- The two teams traded leads eight times throughout the first 10-plus minutes of the second half as neither team built more than a three-point lead.
- Following two ties, including the latter at 59-59 with 4:20 remaining in the game, the Warriors rattled off a 12-0 scoring run to take their largest lead of the game. VanCrete ignited the run by scoring the first points of the stretch.
- WLC made its final eight free throw attempts over the final 1:09 to seal the non-conference win as the Knights would get no closer than seven points.
- Bruggink paced four Warriors in double figures with a game-high 19 points, including 13 in the second half, to go along with nine rebounds.
- VanCrete (12 points, 12 rebounds) and Farner (12 points, 10 rebounds) posted a pair of double-doubles, while Stiede tied a season-high with 10 points off the bench.
- WLC was held to a season-low 37.1 percent (26-for-70) shooting, but did covert 14 of its 19 free throw attempts for 73.7 percent.
- Wisconsin Lutheran, which won its second straight over Martin Luther, out-rebounded the host Knights 47-38.
- Jacob Price scored 16 points off the bench to lead three Knights in double figures. MLC shot 37.3 percent (28-for-75) for the game and just 23.3 percent (6-for-26) from three-point range.
