Ja'Quell Chisom (Milwaukee, Wis.) and freshman forward
Bryce Appel (Edgerton, Wis.) earned postseason recognition as Wisconsin Lutheran College placed two players on the 2025-2026 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference men's basketball awards teams, as announced on Thursday by the league office.
Chisom was named Second Team All-NACC, marking the first all-conference honor of his career. He led WLC in starts (22), minutes per game (30.1), field goals made (131), 3-pointers made (37), free throws made (59), points per game (14.9), rebounds per game (7.6), and blocks (12). Chisom scored in double figures in 17 games and recorded seven double-doubles on the season. He established career highs with 28 points on February 11 versus Marian and 16 rebounds on January 31 at Illinois Tech.
Appel earned NACC Honorable Mention after a strong freshman campaign. He led the team in games played (25) and ranked second on the squad in field goals made (103), points per game (10.8), and blocks (10). Appel reached double-figure scoring in 12 games, including each of the final 11 contests of the season. He posted a season-high 24 points on January 31 at Illinois Tech and grabbed a season-high 12 rebounds on February 18 at Edgewood.
The Warriors finished their 2025-2026 season 7-18 overall and 5-13 in the NACC.
