(WLCSports.com) – The Wisconsin Lutheran College softball team suffered a 2-0 loss to the second-seeded MSOE Raiders Thursday night in their second game of the 2019 NACC Tournament. With the loss, the Warriors will face fifth-seeded Dominican in an elimination game tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. at Bedrosian Stadium.

- The Raiders tallied the first hit in the second after a leadoff single, then a wild pitch later advanced the runner to third, but Jessie Rago (Elgin, Ill.) stranded the runner.
- Ellen Davis (Greendale, Wis.) registered the first hit of the contest for the Warriors in the fifth, but WLC was unable to move her around and the score remained tied at 0-0 after five innings.
- MSOE used a leadoff walk, followed by a single to put two runners on in the sixth. A sacrifice bunt and a WLC throwing error allowed the first runner of the game to cross the plate, giving the Raiders a 1-0 lead. MSOE used an RBI groundout in the following at-bat to push its lead to 2-0 after six innings.
- Abby Mahsem (South Milwaukee, Wis.) led off the seventh with a single and Davis drew a walk to put two runners on with two outs, but the Warriors failed to score, falling 2-0 in their second game of the day.
- Rago suffered the loss, allowing one unearned run over five innings with two strikeouts.
- Davis and Mahsem collected the lone hits of the contest for the Warriors.
- Amanda Manssen led MSOE with two hits, while three other Raiders also added hits.
- Lorrin Pondo earned the win in the circle, allowing just two hits over 4.1 innings of relief.
- The Warriors will face fifth-seeded Dominican (23-18) in an elimination game tomorrow morning. The Stars fell to Marian 2-1 in nine innings in their opening game of the NACC Tournament Thursday afternoon.
