WEST DUNDEE, Ill. (WLCSports.com) - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's golf team tied for third out of 11 scoring teams with a 306 on Monday at the Judson Invitational at Randall Oaks Golf Club, finishing just one stroke shy of second place. Sophomore Theo Schmenk (River Falls, Wis.) posted the top Warriors individual finish on the afternoon, carding a career-low 74 for a fifth-place tie.

- Senior Johnny Kositzky Jr. (Escanaba, Mich.), junior Joey Ploch (Oconomowoc, Wis.), and junior Solomon Zarling (West Bend, Wis.) tied for ninth overall after firing rounds of 75 on the par-71 course. Zarling posted a trio of birdies and finished at +1 on the back nine.
- Junior James Michaelson (Crystal Lake, Ill.) and senior Quinn Schultz (Chaseburg, Wis.) each finished with an 81.
- Schmenk paced WLC's second squad with a career-best 74 (+3) and was even on his back nine.
- Juniors Trey Gnewikow (Warrens, Wis.) and Grant Hammer (Germantown Hills, Ill.) added rounds of 76 and 77, respectively, for Wisconsin Lutheran.
- The Green and White's 306 was one stroke behind second-place Dubuque.

- Aurora won the 11-team scoring tournament with a score of 292 (+8), finishing ahead of runner-up Dubuque by 13 strokes. The Spartans' Jackson Clark earned medalist honors with a 72 (+1) as AU had four players finish inside the top eight.
- The Warriors travel to Galena, Illinois tomorrow to compete in the Clarke Invite. First tee time is scheduled for 9:06 a.m. on The General course at Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa.
