MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College finished third at the MSOE Fall Invitational, played Sunday and Monday at Brown Deer Park Golf Course. The Warriors carded rounds of 307 and 299 for a 36-hole team total of 606, good for the eighth-best team score relative to par in program history.
Sophomore
Isaiah Schaser (Newburg, Wis.) led WLC with a two-round score of 147 (+5) to tie for second in the 50-player field after rounds of 74 and 73. Senior
Riley Tanzi (West Bend, Wis.) followed closely with a 151 (+9) to finish tied for sixth, highlighted by a strong final-round 73. Sophomore
Brayden Bode (Oak Creek, Wis.) posted a 153 (+11) to tie for 12th with a 77 and 76, while junior
Tim Valerio (Pewaukee, Wis.) recorded a 157 (+15) with an 80 and 77 for a tie at 23rd. Rounding out Wisconsin Lutheran's top five was junior
Luka Stojadinovic (Oak Creek, Wis.), who tied for 25th with a 158 (+16) following a 78 and 80.
Freshman
Braden Naumann (Hartland, Wis.) led the Warriors' second squad with an 80-75—155 for a 19th-place finish.
MSOE captured the team title with a 596 total (294-302), five strokes clear of UW-Stevens Point. Connor Schaefer of UW-Stevens Point earned individual medalist honors with a 145 (+3) after rounds of 74 and 71.
WLC competes next at the 2025 NACC Championship, which will be played October 11-13 at The Meadow Valleys at Blackwolf Run in Kohler.
