BEAVER DAM, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Junior Solomon Zarling (West Bend, Wis.) shared medalist honors and the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's golf team won its third straight event on Friday, defeating Concordia Wisconsin and MSOE to win the Old Hickory Masters at Old Hickory Golf Club.

- Zarling tied for medalist honors in the 25-player field with his five-over 77.
- Junior Joey Ploch (Oconomowoc, Wis.) posted a third-place finish with a 78 (+6) after registering a trio of birdie putts.
- Junior Trey Gnewikow (Warrens, Wis.) tied for the team's lowest front-nine score (38) and placed fourth with a 79 (+7).
- Junior Grant Hammer (Germantown Hills, Ill.) rounded out the team score for WLC with an 82, also matching a team-low 38 on the front nine.
- The Warriors won their third straight event and fourth of the season with a team score of 316 (+28), topping runner-up Concordia Wisconsin by 13 shots.
- We weren't at full strength today but we had a couple guys step in and put up a score for us. We faced some of the toughest conditions of the year and were able to post a good enough number to bring home a win. - Dylan Karvala of Concordia Wisconsin tied for the lowest individual score with a 77 (+5). The Falcons compiled a team score of 329, while MSOE finished with a 350.
- The Warriors have a week off before returning to the links on Saturday, October 3 for the Morningstar Match Play against Viterbo. Tee time is scheduled for 12:10 p.m. at Morningstar Golfers Club in Waukesha.
