Wisconsin Lutheran Competes At MSOE Fall Invite

LAKE GENEVA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's golf team competed Sunday and Monday at the MSOE Fall Invitational at Grand Geneva Resort. Freshman Kale Gnewikow (Warrens, Wis.) led the Warriors with two rounds of 79 at the 16-team tournament.

• Top WLC Individual: Kale Gnewikow (+15), T-34th of 81

• Gnewikow carded season-low rounds of 79 both Sunday and Monday to lead the Warriors. He tied for 34th in the 81-player field with a 158.
• Freshman Luke Movrich (Appleton, Wis.) posted rounds of 87 and 81, tying a season-best in the final round on Monday for a 168.
• Junior Theo Schmenk (River Falls, Wis.) saw a 16-shot improvement over the course of the tournament, as he shot a 79 on Monday to tie for the team's low round. He finished with a two-day 174.
• Junior Hans Schultz (Ladysmith, Wis.) tied a season-low with an 82 on Sunday and finished with a two-round 175.
• WLC totaled a 675 (343-332) over the two rounds for 16th place.

• The Warriors play the first of the four-round NACC Championship next Sunday at The Meadow Valleys of Blackwolf Run in Kohler. First tee time is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Live scoring will be available for the championship at WLCSports.com.
