Box Score MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) – The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's volleyball team dropped a three-set NACC match to Lakeland on Thursday night inside the Recreation Complex. The Muskies defeated the Warriors by scores of 25-14, 25-9, and 25-18.

- The Warriors jumped out to a 4-1 lead over the Muskies in the opening set, before Lakeland rattled off five straight points for a 7-5 lead. Another six-point run for LU gave the visitors a 13-6 advantage. WLC came no closer than six points as Lakeland took the opening set by a score of 25-14.
- The Muskies scored the first three points of the second set, but Wisconsin Lutheran evened things up at 4-4 following a kill from junior Sean Daniels (Racine, Wis.). After trading points, Lakeland took control of the set with a 10-0 run and went onto take a 2-0 lead following a 25-9 win.
- The Green and White trailed 5-4 early in the third set when the Muskies netted four in a row to force a Warriors timeout. WLC found itself trailing by just four at 17-13 before three straight from the Muskies forced another timeout. Lakeland came away with a 25-18 win in the third and final set. Wisconsin Lutheran, which matched a season-high with 18 points in the game, posted a team-best .333 hitting percentage in the third set.
- Junior Logan Ascher (Waukesha, Wis.) posted a team-high three kills for the Warriors, who totaled a season-high 11 for the match. Daniels, sophomore Joe Flett (St. Anthony, Minn.), and freshman Grant Wempner (Garden Grove, Calif.) added two kills apiece.
- Freshman Isaac Stellick (Taichung, Taiwan) collected six of WLC's 10 assists. Flett and Ascher recorded a trio of digs each, while Ascher accounted for all three of his team's service aces.
- Ben Busalacchi paced the Muskies with seven kills and Cameron Ekum dished out 19 assists. Busalacchi (seven) and Ekum (six) combined for 13 of Lakeland's 23 service aces.
- LU totaled 23 kills and hit .267 for the match.
