Box Score RIVER FOREST, Ill. (WLCSports.com) – The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's volleyball team fell in three sets by scores of 25-6, 25-8, and 25-18 on the road against Concordia Chicago on Tuesday night inside Geiseman Gymnasium.

- The Cougars led early in the opening set behind a couple service aces and took a 7-2 advantage. The Warriors ended a four-point run after a service error, but CUC rattled off 11 straight points to extend the lead to 19-3. WLC got a kill late in the set from freshman Logan Gryzwa (Delafield, Wis.), but Concordia Chicago scored the final four points to take set one, 25-6.
- CUC scored the first five points in set two before sophomore Joe Flett (St. Anthony, Minn.) ended the run with a kill. The Cougars went on two more runs on five unanswered points and claimed the second set by a score of 25-8.
- The Warriors recorded three consecutive kills early in the third set, with junior Logan Ascher (Waukesha, Wis.) tallying the first and Gryzwa posting the next two. WLC led 9-7 before Concordia Chicago scored five straight points to take a three-point lead. Wisconsin Lutheran evened the score at 13 with three straight points, but the Cougars scored the next three points and never trailed again to clinch the third set 25-18.
- Gryzwa and freshman Grant Wempner (Garden Grove, Calif.) finished with three kills each to lead the team. The Warriors finished with 11 total kills and posted a -.133 hitting percentage.
- Freshman Isaac Stellick (Taichung, Taiwan) led the team with seven assists and six digs. He also recorded a kill.
- Clayton Nix led the Cougars with seven kills. Trent Weber recorded 24 assists while Blake Rosen finished with 10 digs.
- Concordia Chicago totaled 29 kills across the three sets and hit .396 as a team.
