Box Score MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) – The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's volleyball posted a season-high .038 hitting percentage but fell in three sets to seventh-ranked Dominican on Friday night inside the Recreation Complex. The Stars swept the Warriors by scores of 25-10, 25-7, and 25-17.

- Dominican opened set one with the first four points to take the early lead. The Warriors got kills from freshman Grant Wempner (Garden Grove, Calif.), junior Logan Ascher (Waukesha, Wis.), and junior Sean Daniels (Racine, Wis.) but the Stars capitalized on three more runs of four or more points to claim the first set 25-10.
- WLC scored the first two points of the second set before Dominican took a 3-2 lead with three straight points. A kill from Wempner evened the score, but an 8-1 run by the Stars gave the visitors a 13-5 advantage. Freshman Logan Gryzwa (Delafield, Wis.) posted a kill for Wisconsin Lutheran, but Dominican scored the final 11 points to take set two 25-7.
- The Stars took a 3-0 lead to start the third set, but the Warriors responded with a 6-1 run to hold a 6-4 lead. Dominican responded with five quick points and later used a four-point run to take a 15-9 lead. Wempner posted a pair of service aces late in the set, but the Stars closed out the match with a 25-17 win in set three.
- Sophomore Joe Flett (St. Anthony, Minn.) led the team with four kills, while Wempner and Daniels each added three. The Warriors posted a season-high .038 hitting percentage and finished with 13 kills as a team.
- Gryzwa finished with a team-high four digs, while freshman Isaac Stellick (Taichung, Taiwan) recorded eight assists.
- George Kougan finished with seven kills to pace Dominican, which finished with 32 as a team for a .404 hitting percentage.
- The Stars recorded 19 service aces, with six coming from Daniel Sharrah.
