Box Score MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) – The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's volleyball team recorded a season-high 14 kills, but fell in three sets to Edgewood on Tuesday night inside the Recreation Complex by scores of 25-11, 25-16, and 25-18.

- Edgewood opened the first set with four of the first five points before a kill from sophomore Joe Flett (St. Anthony, Minn.) sparked a three-point rally for the Warriors to even the score at 4-4. The Eagles responded by scoring nine out of the next 10 points to take a 15-6 lead. Flett and junior Logan Ascher (Waukesha, Wis.) each tallied a kill during the remainder of the set, but Edgewood took the opening game 25-11.
- An Eagles error and a kill by Flett gave WLC a 2-1 lead early in the second set but a four-point run from the visitors gave Edgewood a 7-3 advantage. Wisconsin Lutheran got back within two at 9-7 but the Eagles regained control behind a couple service aces to lead 14-8. Flett tallied another kill midway through the set to help the Warriors cut the gap to four, but Edgewood claimed the second set 25-16.
- WLC scored the first two points of the third set on a kill from freshman Logan Gryzwa (Delafield, Wis.) and a service ace from Ascher. Wisconsin Lutheran kept pace with the Eagles, trailing 10-9 until an 11-2 Edgewood run put the visitors up 10. The Warriors scored four straight to cut the lead down to six, but Edgewood closed out the third 25-18 to earn the sweep.
- The Warriors tallied a season-high 14 kills on a -.043 hitting percentage. Flett led the team with seven kills while Gryzwa added three.
- Ascher and sophomore Matthew Miskowski (La Crosse, Wis.) each recorded a team-high eight digs.
- Freshman Isaac Stellick (Taichung, Taiwan) led the team with a season-high 12 assists.
- Two Eagles recorded double-digit kills, with Ethan Moll Kind posting 11 and Christopher Kahler totaling 10. Kahler also tallied a team-high 12 digs.
- Edgewood hit .272 as a team, with Moll Kind and Kahler each hitting .381.
