(WLCSports.com) – The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's soccer team controlled the pace of play, but it was visiting Edgewood which came away with a 1-0 win over the Warriors on Sunday night at Warriors Soccer Field. The Eagles scored the game's lone goal in the 84th minute to slip past WLC.

- Sophomore Katie Wasiak (Muskego, Wis.) put a pair of shots on frame within a three-minute span in the first half, but both were saved by the Eagles' keeper.
- Freshman Lauren Butler (West Allis, Wis.) made two saves of her own late in the first half to preserve the 0-0 tie heading into halftime.
- WLC had three more chances in the 71st, 75th, and 79th minutes with close-range shots, but all three were again stopped.
- EC's Marley Satran broke through for the game's lone goal in the 84th minute when she beat the keeper into the lower left corner following a breakaway.
- Wisconsin Lutheran out-shot Edgewood 13-6 and held a 5-1 advantage on corner kicks.
- Wasiak led all players with six shots, while she and senior Gabriella Metten (Greenville, Wis.) had two shots on goal.
- Freshman Signe Kind (Fort Atkinson, Wis.) added the fifth shot of target for the Green and White.
- Butler finished with two saves, both of which came in the first half.
- Siobhan Gallagher and Marley Satran combined for five of the Eagles' six shots for the game, half of which landed on frame.
- Goalkeeper Grace Wildeboer made five saves to pickup the shutout win.
