Warriors Tie For Fourth Behind Schultz's Season Low

WEST DUNDEE, Ill. (WLCSports.com) - Senior Quinn Schultz (Chaseburg, Wis.) tied for third overall with a season-low round of 74 as the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's golf team tied for fourth in the team standings at the Judson Spring Invitational at Randall Oak Golf Club on Monday.

• WLC Team: T-4th of 17 (+22)
• Top WLC Individual: Quinn Schultz (+3), T-3rd of 97

• Schultz tied for third in the 97-player field with a season-low round of 74 on the par 71 course. He drained five birdie putts to lead the Warriors' lineup.
• Juniors James Michaelson (Crystal Lake, Ill.) and Joey Ploch (Oconomowoc, Wis.) were among eight players to tie for 12th with a score of 76 (+5).
• Junior Trey Gnewikow (Warrens, Wis.) rounded out the scoring for WLC with a score of 80 (+9), which tied him for 35th.
• The Warriors finished with a team score of 306, which tied them for fourth with Lake Forest and just three strokes out of first place.

• North Park and Roosevelt shared the top team honors in the 17-team field with a score of 303 (+19). NPU's Jack Haberkorn earned medalist honors with a 71 (E).

• The Warriors' busy week continues tomorrow when they compete in the Carthage Spring Invitational at Kenosha Country Club. Tee time is scheduled for 9 a.m.
