MIDDLETON, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Junior James Michaelson (Crystal Lake, Ill.) and seniors Quinn Schultz (Chaseburg, Wis.) and Johnny Kositzky Jr. (Escanaba, Mich.) each recorded top 10 finishes to lead the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's golf team at the Edgewood Quadrangular on Friday at Bishops Bay Country Club. The Warriors finished third with their second-lowest round of the year, a 301, at the spring season opener.

- Michaelson tied for third in the 32-player field with a 72 to finish just two strokes off the lead. He sank a trio of birdie putts en route to his season-low score.
- Schultz also tied with one other player for eighth overall with a season-low round of 75.
- Kositzky Jr. tied for 10th with a 76, his fourth-best round of the season.
- Junior Joey Ploch (Oconomowoc, Wis.) tied for 14th with a 78, posting his ninth straight round in the 70s.
- The Warriors' round of 301 (+13) was their second-lowest round relative to par this season.

- Host Edgewood won the four-team event with a team score of 293, six strokes ahead of runner-up MSOE. The Eagles' Matthew Davidson earned medalist honors with a two-under 70.
- The Warriors host the WLC Spring Invitational tomorrow at Morningstar Golf Club in Waukesha. Tee time is scheduled for 1:15 p.m.
