Box Score WAUKESHA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Sophomore Tim Gillingham (Oshkosh, Wis.) gave the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's soccer team a 1-0 lead five minutes into the second half, but host Carroll scored two goals including the game-winner on a penalty kick in the 84th minute in a 2-1 defeat over WLC on Saturday night at Schneider Stadium.

- The two sides played to a scoreless draw for the opening 45 minutes of the game. Warriors freshman goalkeeper Bryce Beckley (Waterford, Wis.) made three saves in the first half to keep the Pioneers off the scoreboard.
- WLC jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 50th minute of the second half when Gillingham netted his second goal of the year on an assist from William Bergersen (Milwaukee, Wis.).
- After three more stops from Beckley, Carroll knotted the match at 1-1 in the 58th minute. The Pioneers took a 2-1 lead in the 84th minute on a successful penalty kick goal for the go-ahead score.
- Wisconsin Lutheran appeared to have evened the score at 2-2 with less than 10 seconds left on the clock, but the referee signaled offsides on the play and the goal was nullified.
- Beckley made nine saves in the contest for the Warriors. Gillingham added his second goal of the season and Bergersen tallied his first career assist.
