Men's Soccer Suffers First Conference Loss

WAUWATOSA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's soccer team suffered its first NACC loss on Wednesday night, falling 3-0 to conference foe Concordia Wisconsin at Warriors Soccer Field.

• Final Score: Concordia Wisconsin 3, Wisconsin Lutheran 0
• Records: Wisconsin Lutheran (4-4-0, 2-1-0 NACC), Concordia Wisconsin (4-3-0, 2-1-0 NACC)
• Location: Warriors Soccer Field, Wauwatosa, Wis.

• The visiting Falcons scored early in the 2nd minute to take a one-goal lead over the Warriors. That score stood through halftime as neither team mustered up much scoring chances the rest of the first half.
• CUW went in front 2-0 in the 59th minute and added insurance on an 81st-minute penalty kick.
• Freshman Nate Wenzel (Lake Zurich, Ill.) had two of the Warriors' six shots in the contest. Seniors Trent Biesterfeld (Crete, Ill.) and Seth Boese (Greenfield, Wis.) each added a shot on goal.
• Freshman Bryce Beckley (Waterford, Wis.) made three saves in the match for WLC.
