APPLETON, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College settled for a 0-0 draw against Lawrence on Sunday in a non-conference contest at the Banta Bowl.
The Warriors (6-2-2), who tied an opponent for the second time this season, out-shot the Vikings (2-7-2) in the first half 10-3 and had five shots on goal compared to just one for LU.Â
Lawrence doubled up WLC 6-3 in shots on goal in the second half, but neither team was able to connect for a game-winner. Junior goalkeeper
Puma Galvan (Racine, Wis.) made six of his seven saves in the second half to preserve the scoreless tie.
Wisconsin Lutheran finished with 19 shots in the match and was led by senior
Jason Cano's (Delevan, Wis.) six attempts.
Rodrigo Angulo tallied five of the Vikings' 13 shots in the contest. Goalkeeper Ethan Uribe made eight saves.
