Spartans Sweep NACC Match From WLC

MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) – The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 sweep to the Aurora Spartans in a NACC match on Thursday night inside the Recreation Complex. 

• Final Score: Aurora 3, Wisconsin Lutheran 0 (25-7, 25-11, 25-5)
• Records: Wisconsin Lutheran (0-23, 0-11 NACC), Aurora (16-9, 9-3 NACC)
• Location: Recreation Complex, Milwaukee, Wis.

• The Spartans, who hit .667 in the opening set, scored the first nine points and later used a 6-0 scoring run to close the first set with a 25-7 win over the Warriors.
• WLC trailed 9-5 in the second set following a kill from senior Logan Ascher (Waukesha, Wis.). AU answered with seven consecutive points to take control as they went on to win 25-11 in set two.
• Aurora netted the first 11 points of the third set as the visitors won the set 25-5 to take the match.
• Junior Joe Flett (St. Anthony, Minn.) led Wisconsin Lutheran with four kills, while freshman James Biedenbender (La Crosse, Wis.) tallied six assists. Junior Matthew Miskowski (La Crosse, Wis.) added six digs.

• The Warriors wrap up their 2022 season on Saturday with a 1 p.m. Senior Day match against Rockford (3-22, 0-11 NACC). Live coverage links will be available for the contest at WLCSports.com.
