WEST DUNDEE, Ill. (WLCSports.com) - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's golf team won its first tournament of the year on Monday, shooting a 307 to top the 15-team tournament field at the Judson Spring Invitational. Senior Solomon Zarling (West Bend, Wis.) tied for second in the field of 84 players with a two-over 73.

- Zarling tied for second in the 84-player field with a round of 73, finishing three shots back of the leader. It was the third consecutive top-5 finish for the Warriors' senior, who played even through the front nine.
- Senior James Michaelson (Crystal Lake, Ill.) also landed a top-10 finish, as he tied for eighth with a six-over 77. Michaelson carded a one-over on the back nine.
- Senior Grant Hammer (Germantown Hills, Ill.) tied for 11th with a 78, also playing a strong back nine at one-over.
- Senior Trey Gnewikow (Warrens, Wis.) was one shot back of his teammate with a 79 for a 17th-place tie.
- Freshman Kale Gnewikow (Warrens, Wis.) rounded out the five-player team scoring for WLC with an 86.
- The Warriors continue their busy week of three events on Friday when they travel to Vernon Hills, Illinois for the Forester Spring Invite. Tee time is scheduled for 9 a.m. at White Deer Run Golf Course.
