Movrich's Top-10 Finish Leads Men's Golf At Carthage Invite

KENOSHA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Freshman Luke Movrich (Appleton, Wis.) tied for 10th overall to lead the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's golf team at the Carthage Spring Invitational on Tuesday at Kenosha Country Club. The Warriors finished 10th out of 13 teams at the single-day event with a team score of 324.

  • Movrich tied for 10th in the field of 74 players to lead the Warriors, finishing with a six-over 76.
  • Junior Theo Schmenk (River Falls, Wis.) tied for 24th after carding an 80.
  • Junior Hans Schultz (Ladysmith, Wis.) fired an 83 and freshman Kale Gnewikow (Warrens, Wis.) turned in an 85.

  • The Warriors play the third round of the NACC Championship on Sunday at Stonebridge Country Club in Aurora, Illinois. Tee time is scheduled for 11 a.m. WLC enters the final two rounds of the conference championship in fourth place, just seven shot back of second, after the championship opening rounds in the fall.
