Box Score 2 WAUWATOSA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Sophomores Lexi Martin (Westfield, Ind.) and Addison Gelande (Port Byron, Ill.) had three hits apiece for the Wisconsin Lutheran College softball team on Tuesday, but the Warriors were swept by Lakeland in a NACC doubleheader at Neumann Family Softball Field by scores of 12-4 and 10-4.

- After a scoreless first inning, the Muskies scored four runs on five hits in the second inning before adding another four-spot in the fourth. LU led 10-0 after three-and-a-half innings.
- Martin launched her seventh homerun of the season to leadoff the fourth inning for the Warriors' first run of the game, and WLC plated three more runs in the fifth on RBI from junior Ashley Knutter (Hawthorn Woods, Ill.), Martin, and Gelande.
- A pair of Lakeland RBI in the sixth put the final score at 12-4.
- Martin led Wisconsin Lutheran with two hits, two RBI, and a run. Four other players collected one hit each, while Gelande and Knutter recorded RBI.
- The Muskies scored a first-inning run on a steal of home, added two more runs in the second, and a single tally in the fourth for a 4-0 lead.
- Sophomore Maddy Chestolowski (Appleton, Wis.) cleared the bases in the sixth inning with a double to left center and a misplay that scored sophomore Bri Biermann (Fond du Lac, Wis.), and freshmen Maddie Votsis (Milwaukee, Wis.) and Taylor Peterson (Beloit, Wis.). Chestolowski crossed the plate on sophomore Bre Hoy's (McHenry, Ill.) sac fly to center on the ensuing at-bat to make it a 4-4 game.
- The first five batters for LU reached base safely in the seventh as the visitors scored six runs on four hits to separate themselves from WLC.
- Gelande and Peterson posted two hits each for Wisconsin Lutheran in the nightcap, while Chestolowski drove in two runs.
