FORT MYERS, Fla. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College suffered a pair of losses on Tuesday at Terry Park, falling to Saint Elizabeth 7-2 and Franklin & Marshall 9-3.
The Eagles (2-5) started the scoring off with two runs on three hits in the first inning and added another run on two hits in the second to make it 3-0. The Warriors left senior
Danny Cain (Jackson, Wis.) stranded on third with one out in the bottom of the second after doubling and advancing to third on a throwing error. SEU added two more runs in the top of the third on two hits.
WLC left two runners stranded in the bottom of the fourth following two hits. Saint Elizabeth got one more run in the top of the fifth on two hits to make it 6-0. The Eagles tacked on their final run in the top of the sixth off a pair of hits. Wisconsin Lutheran loaded the bases with one out in the eighth. Senior
Ryan Dominick (Bartlett, Ill.) scored on a bases loaded walk and senior
Carter Raabe (Mukwonago, Wis.) crossed home plate on a sac fly.

Eli Michaelis (Wauwatosa, Wis.) led the Warriors with two hits each. Junior
Gabe Knight (Brighton, Mich.) tossed 6.0 relief innings and allowed just two runs.Â
The Diplomats (7-8) started the scoring off in the bottom of the third of game two with two runs on one hit. F&M added two more runs in the bottom of the fourth behind two hits. The Warriors plated two runs in the fifth after sophomore
Tyler Danko (Milwaukee, Wis.) drew a bases loaded walk and junior
Henry Strupp (Watertown, Wis.) scored on a Dominick groundout. Franklin & Marshall added one more run in the fifth benefiting from two errors.Â
WLC added its final run in the top of the sixth on a RBI single from freshman
Tim Frerking (Oconomowoc, Wis.). In the seventh, F&M plated a run on two hits. Wisconsin Lutheran got singles from Michaelis and Raabe in the top of the eighth, but left both stranded. The Diplomats ended the game with three runs on three hits in the bottom of the eighth making the final score 9-3.
Freshman
Kason McFadden (Sachse, Texas) paced the Warriors with two hits, while four others players added one hit each. Sophomore
Jaime Miner (Erie, Ill.) pitched 3.2 innings allowing two earned runs with two strikeouts in his first start of the season.
