RIPON, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College opened its 2023 season on Friday with a 1-1 non-conference draw against Ripon at Prairie Field.
The Warriors (0-0-1) and Red Hawks (0-0-1) played through a scoreless first half despite WLC out-shooting RC 6-0 in shots on frame.Â

Ripon answered with the equalizer in the 66th minute, and neither team was able to threaten the rest of the way as the contest ended in a tie.
The Warriors, who extended their unbeaten streak to seven against the Red Hawks, out-shot the hosts 10-2, including 8-1 in shots on goal. Meaux, who scored WLC's first goal of the season for the fourth consecutive year, led the team with three shots. Senior
