LOVES PARK, Ill. (WLCSports.com) - After winning back-to-back games by a 1-0 margin, Wisconsin Lutheran College was on the wrong end of a 1-0 result against Rockford on Saturday in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match at Wedgbury Stadium.
The Warriors (2-2-2, 1-1-0 NACC) played through a scoreless opening half with the Regents (3-4-0, 2-0-0 NACC) despite out-shooting the hosts 9-3, including 4-0 in shots on frame.
WLC and RU each tallied eight second-half shots, but Rockford put three shots on frame to Wisconsin Lutheran's one.
The Regents broke through for the game's lone goal in the 87th minute when Abraham Gonzalez netted the game-winner from Nolan Beard.

Tony Bedolla (Joliet, Ill.) led the Warriors with five shots, while freshman
Hector Cervantes (Milwaukee, Wis.) added four. WLC held the advantage in shots (17-11) and corner kicks (7-1). Senior
