RIPON, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College wrapped up a 3-1 weekend by splitting a pair of matches with Carroll and host Ripon at the Red Hawks Invitational on Saturday at Doc Weiske Memorial Gymnasium.
The Warriors (5-7) were swept by the Pioneers (7-5) in their first match of the day by scores of 25-18, 25-18, 25-19. WLC, which was limited to a .064 hitting percentage, totaled 29 kills, 23 errors, and 94 attempts.
Sophomore
Kayla Wigley (Milwaukee, Wis.) tallied a match-high 10 kills while boasting a .368 hitting percentage. Junior
Karah Valerio (Pewaukee, Wis.) tied a match high with 15 assists. Junior
Kylee Gnabasik (Jefferson, Wis.) led all players with 17 digs and five service aces, while junior
Grace Frey (South Milwaukee, Wis.) recorded four block assists.
Wisconsin Lutheran swept Ripon (6-6) in its final match of the weekend by scores of 25-21, 25-15, 25-18. The Warriors hit a season-high .257 with 36 kills, eight errors, and 109 attempts.Â

Clarissa Olivares (Brownsville, Texas) dished out 14 and 10 assists, respectively. Defensively, Gnabasik collected seven digs and sophomore

Margie Stevens (Oneida, Wis.) tied for a match high with four block assists.
