HARTFORD, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College finished sixth at the WLC Fall Invitational played Saturday and Sunday at Washington County Golf Course.
The Warriors shot a 304-309--613 for sixth place at the 12-team event. WLC's first round 304 was a season low relative to par. Carthage won the tournament title by one stroke over Luther with a 290-290--580. Haakon Rustad of Luther earned medalist honors in the 63-player field with a 72-68--140 (+4).

Kale Gnewikow (Warrens, Wis.) and sophomore
Riley Tanzi (West Bend, Wis.) tied for 18th with a 150 to lead Wisconsin Lutheran. Gnewikow fired rounds of 74-76, while Tanzi turned in cards of 76-74.

Luke Movrich (Appleton, Wis.) tied for 33rd with a 79-78--157, while sophomore
Luke Capstran (Oak Creek, Wis.) and freshman
Carter Gault (Holmen, Wis.) tied for 36th with a 159. Capstran carded rounds of 76-83 and Gault recorded rounds of 78-81.
The Warriors start a busy five-round week on Tuesday with the Ives Grove College Challenge at Ives Grove Golf Course in Sturtevant.
